The office is a new home for a fintech company, built to address the growing needs of their staff and the demands to connect with a wider business community. The design intent, therefore, is to provide social hubs and flexible work spaces that promote creativity and an active lifestyle.
TOUGHENED GLASS
The glass panels at the main meeting room can be entirely removed to connect with the adjacent workspaces and create a larger room. Toughened glass is ideal for this kind of function as its strength can be four to five times that of conventional annealed glass. The material properties also include the ability to fracture into smaller pieces with blunt edges in case of failure, which means a lower safety risk.
