PROJECTS

Panggung Anniversari Roof Canopy

The brief for this project was to refurbish a recreational structure that was built in 1967, restore the existing amphitheatre and construct a new roof canopy to cover a void between two existing roofs.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane was used as the main material for the new roof structure and is strategically stretched over a steel frame. The steel membrane structure was fabricated locally. Due to the unavailability of locally made tensile, the PTFE tensile was manufactured and installed by Australian-based T.E Membrane.

Lush greenery has also been preserved in the surrounding area.
