The Forestias

The Forestias is a new residential-led master plan with massive landscaped areas. Located in the outskirts of Bangkok, the development addresses the growing disconnection between contemporary city life and family traditions. It focuses on serving the community, promoting multi-generational family co-living and reconnecting with nature—a template for healthier and happier urban living in Thailand. The development is also based on innovative city principles, with autonomous vehicles, smart meters and sensor networks.

THE TWO ZONES

Establishing a positive relationship with nature is the key element that underpins the master plan. The main entrance gives visitors a glimpse of how the development sits in harmony with nature. There is a ‘UX centre’ showcasing the vision of the project’s concept through immersive and interactive experiences. Meanwhile, the pavilion features a canopy walk that extends into the central green forest and links the northern and the southern zones.

The northern areas contain more city-level public functions, while the more significant southern portion is primarily residential. At the centre of the site is a ‘forest’ that defines the essence of the development, showcasing a positive relationship between the built and the natural environments. Lush greenery surrounds the entire development with planted areas offering a variety of experiences and functions. As residents and visitors travel through the site, they are surrounded by denser green spaces presenting a sense of escape into an urban oasis.
