GREEN COMMITMENT
The TRX development has been awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold under LEED for Neighbourhood Development (Stage 2 LEED V4 rating system). Core Residence @ TRX will match the standard by aiming for an on-par LEED certification, as well as Green Building Index (GBI) Gold rating. To do so, first, the project is going fully digital from design to implementation stages, with simulation, coordination, construction and anything in between driven by BIM. Second, all materials and products are chosen by considering the minimal environmental impact. They are also locally extracted and manufactured, both to reduce carbon footprint and to support local businesses. The commitment to prioritise local resources procured within Malaysia amounts to over 75 per cent of the total material value.
