The Transformative Hong Kong, a collateral event of the 18th International Architecture Exhibition—La Biennale di Venezia—is on display through 26 November 2023 in Campo della Tana of Venice, Italy.
Eleven sets of exhibits have been curated in three designated scales—Territorial Transformations, Architectural Transformations, and Public Space Transformations—to illustrate Hong Kong’s future shaped by mega-projects such as the Northern Metropolis and East Lantau Metropolis; as well as innovations like Modular Integrated Construction (MiC).
Opened in May 2023, the showcase is jointly organised by The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Biennale Foundation and Hong Kong Arts Development Council, with The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) as partner and Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) as lead sponsor.
The exhibition is set to return to Hong Kong in the first quarter of 2024. For updates, please visit its website. —Construction+ Online
