Petaling Jaya, 28 September 2020 – Property developer Tropicana Corporation Berhad launched Edelweiss SOFO & Serviced Residences, the latest phase at Tropicana Gardens located within the affluent and bustling neighbourhood of Tropicana Indah.

Spread across 2.35 acres with a gross development value (GDV) of RM855 million, Edelweiss SOFO & Serviced Residences at Tropicana Gardens was designed to cater to the lifestyle needs of young executives and families.

Despite challenging market conditions, the apartment has already seen a 75 per cent take-up rate to date, even prior to its official launch. It will be the first tower at the Tropicana Gardens to introduce smart home concepts for all homeowners, complete with a smart home hub, door sensors, smart sockets and air-conditioner control systems. Cognisant that homeowners today prioritise safety elements when choosing a home, it also includes a smart multi-tiered security system.

Awarded a GreenRE accreditation silver rating, the building offers energy-efficient features in its daily operations such as indoor temperature maintenance and low-emissivity glass that reduces infrared, etc.

“Tropicana expects the Malaysian property market to see modest recovery in 2020, as properties still remain as a popular investment option given the wide range of new properties available, coupled with the various government stimulus measures introduced. For those who can afford to leverage on these attractive schemes available now, they should take advantage of the attractive packages, low interest rates and government initiatives,” said Joanne Lee, Managing Director of Marketing & Sales at Tropicana.

Meanwhile, TRX Residences’ units in Kuala Lumpur, which was jointly developed by international property and infrastructure group, Lendlease, with TRX City Sdn Bhd, the master developer of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), was sold out during the pre-sales period.

The residential development is close to Kuala Lumpur’s largest and only MRT interchange station that provides access to 68 stations across Klang Valley, including KL Sentral, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. It will also be the only residence that enjoys direct connectivity from the SMART Tunnel and the upcoming SPE Highway, as well as easy access to the MEX Highway.

TRX Residences offers one- to three-bedroom freehold residences that cater to varied lifestyle needs. The overwhelming market response underlines the strong desirability of master-planned developments with connectivity.
