Located at the heart of Bangkok in Thailand, this commercial workplace is designed to cater for office workers’ well-being and to represent Thai culture. The tower will be linked to Phloen Chit station and the surrounding amenities, including the large shopping mall Central Embassy via an elevated footbridge.
URBAN WELL-BEING
The tower, together with a new large-scale public park, is situated at the back of a long and narrow site along Phloen Chit Road in Lumphini. The new park will serve as an urban green area to the neighbourhood while creating a serene experience for office workers when they enter the tower.
One City Centre is the first office tower in Thailand to receive a two-star Fitwel rating from the Center for Active Design (CfAD), which recognises its quality development, environmental responsibility and, most importantly, efforts in making the tower a pleasant place for working and non-working users. It aims to help elevate employees’ working efficiency and create an atmosphere conducive to their well-being in an urban setting. Moreover, with the public park downstairs, balconies throughout the tower as well as a rooftop restaurant and bar with a sweeping city view, office workers will be able to access to places of respite anytime during a workday.
