Developed with a fusion of modernist design and biophilia, the apartment is dedicated to families settling in and nurturing their children. Pockets of recreational spaces, greenery and pools are proposed within the residential buildings to bring residents closer to nature. They also offer places for social interaction and learning opportunities about wildlife and its ecosystem. A broad spectrum of residential unit types can cater to diverse family sizes like singles, couples and extended families. This will also create a mini multi-generation community within the development. The high-rise development’s modern, contemporary and sleek exterior is also expected to attract young people.
DESIGN
The design focuses on the residents’ wellness, so a large portion of the GFA across the three sky gardens is dedicated to various leisure and sports facilities. Although the site footprint is compact, the design can accommodate a detailed programme and many amenities. It also complies with Urban Redevelopment Authority’s (URA) requirement to provide a minimum softscape area. The standard is achieved by landscaping the ground level and spreading the remaining greenery requirement over the two sky terraces on the fifth and the 14th storey, and the sky garden on the 28th storey.
Inspired by the Art Deco style in the neighbourhood, the façade is detailed with three-dimensional boxed frames along the cantilevered sky terraces. The apartment units will be elevated five storeys above ground level to provide residents with a more picturesque view of the heritage-rich neighbourhood.
