A light colour palette and soft curvilinear elements evoke a sense of elegance and femininity in this aesthetics clinic.
The project site has an irregular curvy shape. The design team designed the spaces to fit within these shapes, transforming the irregularities into a deliberate design feature. The result is a very fluid layout with a dynamic reception area and a waiting area with rounded waiting ‘pods’.
This project implemented the latest technology to distinguish itself from the crowd, such as the use of interactive product display pods, 3D body scanner-integrated rooms, and fully electronic makeup and hair washing stations in private suites.
In the waiting area, crystal rods line the three-metre-high walls as a feature element. The team separated the rods into three parts, with the diameters controlled to prevent flexing. The housing for the LED strips that connected these crystal rods horizontally also had to be engineered and laser-cut precisely to obtain the slimmest possible profile.
Anti-bacterial and easy-to-clean materials were chosen for use in this clinic. In the treatment rooms, glass panelling is used to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
