Linking Bugis Plus and Bugis Junction, this project rethinks the patterns and cycles of a ‘manufactured lifestyle’. It aims to widen the perception of identity through the essence of ‘demanufacturing’. ‘Demanufactured’ retail enables freedom in creating one’s personal style without the influence of new trends and brand tags, besides combating textile waste.
This journey of self-discovery explores alternative ways of consuming while embracing its surroundings.
The proposed vision consists of three progressive stages: reversing the consumer cycle; destruction of space to reveal; and co-existing humanity and industry.
