The geometrical timber staircase serves as a focal point

The project encapsulates the concept of respecting space, privacy and safety for travellers as people embark on a new chapter of flight experience.

Located within the award-winning, world-famous Singapore Changi Airport, the lounge area is built with a geometrical timber staircase that serves as a focal feature point. Digital printings with visuals and texts about the history of the airport embellish the glass enclosing the staircase. This vertical presentation showcases the country’s progression into a successful transportation hub as well as to allow travellers to respect and understand more about the airport.
