The design of this business park aims to create flexible spaces of different scales amongst office towers and multi-storey office blocks to meet the needs of start-ups and large-scale enterprises. It will be developed into an innovative hub encompassing unified modern urban forms, equipped with basic industrial capabilities and public service platforms, as well as the characteristics of new economic industries such as artificial intelligence (AI) and information technology (IT). Various supporting facilities, such as government service centres, financial consulting, retail and dining will be provided to improve the industrial environment and productivity of this intelligent hub.
FUNCTIONAL DISPOSITION
The project is located at Western (Chengdu) Science City, in the heart of Chengdu Tianfu New Area near the famous Xinglong Lake, where the city is planned to be a forward-looking innovation centre in China, which befits a business park. On the other hand, the design also makes full use of the geographical position to create a place that represents the warmth and openness of Sichuan.
The park covers two plots of land in the north and south respectively with a multi-dimensional valley layout to echo the mountains and valleys in Chengdu, simulating the dynamic characteristics of the surrounding natural environment with a continuous vegetation and green platforms in the buildings that form a central public axis.
