On 24 March 2017, SkyWorld Development Group (SkyWorld) won two awards at the StarProperty.my Awards 2017. This award aims to recognise developers that have made significant impact on the real estate industry. The event was held in Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur and graced by His Royal Highness, Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
The two awards won by SkyWorld were: The Starter Home Award – Top 2 for affordable home series, which was awarded to SkyAwani 2 Residences @ Sentul; and The Skyline Award – Top 3 for the epitome of luxurious Green living projects, which was awarded to SkyLuxe On The Park Residences @ Bukit Jalil.
The judging panel consisted of captains of the Malaysian real estate industry and national leaders of various disciplines, such as architecture, investment trusts, landscape, sustainable building, interior design and real estate-related services.
