TROX Malaysia’s new factory is officially opened on the 25 September 2018—an extension to the existing facility in Senawang. The grand opening was officiated by distinguished guests, Nikolaus Graf Lambsdorff, German Ambassador to Malaysia; Thomas Mosbacher, CFO TROX Group; and Dominic Otte, Vice Chairman of the TROX Group Supervisory Board. The opening ceremony was commenced with a walk through the new factory and followed by speeches from the officials.
The new plant represents an estimated MYR7 million investment by TROX in Senawang and a 3,100-square-metre manufacturing space together with an additional loading bay. This new facility will host the manufacturing of all industrial products for the Tunnel and Marine/Oil & Gas markets and will provide additional space for customer Factory Acceptance Test and Witness & Inspection Test in order to meet the demanding expectations of our customers.
TROX also invested in a new state of the art Fibre Laser Cutting CNC machine to support the higher demand for project-specific customisation, enabling reduced lead times and increased capacity to suit the growing tunnel business in Asia Pacific and worldwide. — Construction+ Online
