Besides encouraging young talent to embrace the I&T culture, the partnership also seeks to support more engineers to kickstart their entrepreneurship journey. Thus, engineering professionals are urged to harness the funding and networks provided by Cyberport’s platform such as Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) to realise innovative projects with commercial and social value.

Among others, the collaboration will reserve up to five fast-track quota for HKIE members per year in Cyberport’s Entrepreneurship Programmes. Nominees will have a fast-track interview opportunity to the programmes and receive up to HKD500,000 in financial support if successfully admitted. —Construction+ Online
