The Piling & Deep Foundations Asia 2018 will be held at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront in Singapore on 1 March 2018. “By building taller and deeper in Singapore’s densely built-up environment, engineers will have to continually change the way we build by using innovative, practical and safe solutions to overcome challenges, such as site constraints and unique design features,” said Chew Keat Chuan, Group Director – Building Engineering, Building and Construction Authority, last year. This event is designed for the whole geotechnical ecosystem to discuss the above.
Meet regulators, project owners, architects, design and engineering consultants and suppliers all in one place. With nine presentations and hundreds of years of combined piling experience, the panel includes senior representation from the Housing and Development Board (HDB), WSP, Gamuda, Mott MacDonald, Beca, Cementaid, Astaldi, Zap Piling and Arcadis.
Discussions will also include how new techniques and technology in the piling space can drive down costs, drive up safety and help realise the dreams of project owners who will be shaping the skylines of Southeast Asia for years to come.
