The site of Eunoia Junior College is about a third smaller than a conventional site area for junior colleges in Singapore, so the design brief was set to create a compact but integrated learning environment that fosters interaction whilst meeting diverse learning needs. A high-rise learning environment, therefore, became the main concept.
FACILITATING LEARNING NEEDS
The two learning towers are coupled with a five-storey elevated running track and field. The learning platforms are separated thematically, comprising an area for community and social activities; an area for physical activities and sports; and an area for knowledge enrichment.
