How does research play out in your design, especially in the context of COVID-19?

Research is the means to create new knowledge and to evolve new solutions to design challenges. As designers, we need new ideas; and research will help us to relook at an issue or problem through a different lens and discover new possibilities. Research fills knowledge gaps within the practice; hence, it is a way to develop our craft and design a creative business edge.
