INTERIORS

52 Pasir Ris

Museworks undertook the task to imbue a modern resort design into a landed house to create a relaxing space.

As the property was old, some structural changes needed to be made to fit the owner’s lifestyle into the space. The challenge was in hiding the internal and existing structures within the design, in order to allow the owner’s style and personality to take centre stage.

The kitchen, dining and living areas are connected in an open-plan design. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows provide a clear view of the greenery outside and allow natural lighting to penetrate into the interiors.

Most of the materials were procured abroad through local distributors to fit the home’s design and purpose. Wood features prominently throughout the interiors and is used for the walls, flooring, furniture, wall panels etc.

The result is a classy yet understated abode to welcome one home after a long day at work.
