This relocation work requires cutting the gantry crane into several parts before it can be brought down. The undertaking has received approval from the supervisory consulting engineers and the authorities. Six crane units will be used in the process. The relocation of the gantry crane is carried out after the completion of the first phase of work, namely the stabilisation of the beam structure.

The relocation work will take into account the level of safety of the surrounding residents and construction workers involved. Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Sdn Bhd and SMPP will work with professional consulting engineers, authorities such as the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) and the Department of Occupational Health and Safety (DOSH), as well as the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).
