HSS Integrated Sdn Bhd (HSSI), a unit of HSS Engineers Bhd (HEB), has received a RM82.5 million letter of award to provide supervising consultancy services for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project.
As reported in The Star, HSSI was appointed by China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd to provide supervising consultancy services for infrastructure works from Km 0 to Km 231.5 of the ECRL Package 1.
Works will start in the first quarter of 2018 and are expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024.
HSSI had, over the course of the year, secured close to RM176 million in contracts, including as design consultant for scheme designs of the ECRL phases one and two, as well as the preliminary design consultancy services for infrastructure works for the ECRL from Km 0 to Km 220. — Construction+ Online
