Sunac-Smart Valley Shenzhen

The interior design of the Sunac-Smart Valley office intentionally breaks the stereotyped perception of the tediousness of science and technology by integrating modernity with nature, creating a workspace of innovation and vitality amidst quietness and comfort.

The sinuous three-dimensional wall design of the lobby resembles the shape of cliffs. Its irregular line surface is randomly composed of white and grey paint, reflective stainless steel and black sandblasted stainless steel—creating a rich sense of depth and infinitely-extending visual effect.

This artistic device also serves to showcase the abstract and dynamic geometric lines of science and technology. The refraction of light on the stainless-steel finishes reflects the activities in the lobby as if it were a mysterious world of different dimensions, both in connection with the present and in the future.

The reception counter, model display station, and water bar continue the modelling language of the walls. While there is visual continuity, the differences in volume and shape make each functional area look like independent hills of different heights. Geometric lines also run through the pattern design of the ceiling and the marble floor, conveying a neutral, minimalist and neat space temperament.

The engraved wood veneer and the green plant wall form an organic collision with the modern and simple geometric elements. Green lounge chairs, irregular marble tables and fresh colours inject vitality into the space.

In contrast, the VIP Room is shrouded in a sense of mystery and quiet atmosphere, with its grey marble and dark wood finishes, highlighting the humanistic connotation of understated luxury. — Construction+ Online
