Kelvin Wong Wee Siong, the current Executive Vice President (EVP) of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) will be appointed as designated CEO of BCA from 27 July 2020 to 1 November 2020. He will then take on the appointment as CEO on 2 November 2020.

Quoting the joint press release: “Under Mr Lim’s leadership, BCA developed the Construction Industry Transformation Map, and galvanised efforts by industry and union partners for the BuildSG Movement. Mr Lim also championed the transformation of the construction industry through innovation and technology”.

Meanwhile, as EVP of EDB, Mr Wong will oversee the development of the strategic growth engines in hub services, supply chain and connectivity, new businesses, as well as policy and planning divisions.
