On 3 August 2017, UAT joined hands with Polycom and Microsoft to coorganise the Workplace of the Future Luncheon at Oasis Room, Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel, sharing the new perspectives and applications of communication solutions with over 70 premium customers from various industries.
P.K. Yu from UAT shared next-generation audiovisual and video conferencing. Guests visualised Polycom audio/video conferencing combing with audiovisual craftsmanship for a total communication solution in audio/video conferencing, video content management, group collaboration, wireless presentation, diversified displays, stage lighting and projection.
One of the keynote speakers, Eric Yu, Technical Director of Greater China of Polycom, Inc., attended the event and interacted with guests regarding the future workplace. Gavin Leung, Technology Manager, Unified Communications of Microsoft, presented video enablement for Skype for Business to enrich user experience and recommended practices to bring the Skype for Business experience to every meeting.
During the event, guests experienced Polycom solutions including Centro visual-center team collaboration, Pano content sharing, EagleEye Director II facial tracking camera, Trio multimedia collaboration hub, RealConnect for Office 365 and MSR Skype room system.
The event enabled a valuable opportunity for leaders and innovators from banking and finance, government, education, professional services, manufacturing and retail to take advantage of insights to enhance communication efficiency while simplifying operation.
